My third contribution to the Gravity Science Fiction series — a project that pays homage to the unforgettable energy of the 1980s. This edition dives deep into the dark side of the genre, featuring the ships and vehicles of our favorite movie villains — from Star Trek and RoboCop to the legendary Star Wars saga, as well as cult classics like V and Terminator.
For this volume, I created six double-page illustrations that explore the visual power, atmosphere, and storytelling potential of these iconic sci-fi worlds. My goal was to capture the spirit of that “prodigious decade” — the mechanical textures, cinematic lighting, and sense of adventure that defined an entire generation of film and design.
The book also includes detailed modeling tutorials, painting and weathering guides by top creators, and plenty of behind-the-scenes insights into the movies that inspired it all. It’s an exciting mix of creativity and nostalgia — and I’m proud to have contributed my vision to this celebration of classic science fiction.
